Hope you all had a bright and sunny week following last week’s motivational tips. As most of you know, I post for Motivational Monday, but I am calling this Monday, Meditative Monday because I want to explain the importance of meditation.
I love meditating and have been meditating religiously for the past 5 years. The great thing about meditation is that you can do it wherever and whenever you want. You can meditate anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour, but they’re generally 20 minutes. You have to find what works best for you.
Meditation has been proven to help combat disease, boost your immune system, calm you down and reduce your anxiety.
I tend to meditate before a big exam, performance, when I need to calm down or whenever I have to perform at my very best. Whenever I meditate, I am never let down. If done on a regular basis, meditation produces the same effects as deep restorative sleep.
I tend you use meditation as a way to help me start my day on a positive note. Whenever I want to feel good and focused or stay calm I turn to meditation.
