If you’ve been in the LadyCode fam for a while, you know I traveled around the world with my fiance, Franz. He hooked it up with his miles and credit card points to get us literally all around the planet in first class, staying in the most expensive resorts around the world. Thanks to his research, we paid almost nothing and he’s ready to share his travel hacks with you! Before we get into that, lets look at our experience in the Etihad first class apartments.
There are 9 apartments in the cabin that are both forward and rear facing. Franz and I got two right in front of each other so that we could connect our beds when it was time to sleep.
Each apartment as one rotating TV, with two touch screen remotes. One remote is for your main seat when you are seated for dining, takeoff, and landing. The other remote is conveniently attached next to your bed so you can control your entertainment system when you are in bed too.
The photos and video don’t do the actual apartment justice because the space was absolutely huge. Like, excessive. There is a ton of storage space including drawers, a full size lit vanity, and your own mini bar with chilled beverages. You also have your own closet to hang your clothes and store your shoes.
The first class cabin has two full size, massive bathrooms. One of them has the shower, which is the coolest thing about this experience. Everything you need is provided for you, including towels, slippers, hair net, luxury shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (which all smell amazing), and even a hair dryer. They also had facial mists and lotion in each bathroom to keep you refreshed.
For dining, you have your own personal chef on board who takes your food orders and customizations. The food was incredible and we enjoyed it a lot. Overall, the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating for us. Our butler was also kind enough to give us a tour of the Etihad Residence, which is a 3 room cabin on the aircraft. Prices for this class start at $20,000!
