Hello, my sweet friends! ❤
We have our 3rd Supermoon in a row today, and it’s a full moon in Pisces.
What does that mean for you?
Emotions are high, and you’re feeling indescribably tuned in and connected.
Pisces is about water, emotions, intuition, the unseen world, our feeling bodies, and feminine energy.
Emily at VirgoMagic writes, “The energies peak on Monday (6:38 pm Pacific), and if you’re feeling overwhelmed, weepy, exhausted and/or escapist then you’re perfectly in tune with the cosmos.
The Pisces Full Moon highlights and heightens our sensitivity to other people and our environment, and the existential suffering that arises from the paradox of being spiritual beings in physical form. The high-vibration expression of Pisces is unconditional love, ecstatic divine union, a felt connection with all life.”
Here’s what I want you to remember: You’re responsible for your own energy. Don’t take on the weight of the world, and don’t take on other people’s feelings. Once you comfortably face your own stuff, and your own emotions, you can shine the light to help others. Be shining examples by taking personal responsibility and doing your inner work. 🙂
Speaking of doing the inner work, have you considered the fact that you are an intuitive being?
All of us are born with intuition and inner-knowing. There are varying degrees to it, but all of us have it.
For some, it’s obvious and for others, it’s like a muscle you never knew you had.
Where are you on the scale?
For me, I always knew that deep down inside, I “know” things sometimes, but never did anything about it, and really never gave it much thought. But that’s where things became super unbalanced for me.
I became stuck up in my head. I over-analyzed everything. I couldn’t make decisions because I was so stuck on weighing the pros and cons and rationalizing everything. I was so afraid to make the wrong decision so I never made any. Sound familiar?
I became erratic and tightly-wound. I didn’t even know who I really was, because I was “think, think, think” all the time, and that was quite a hamster wheel to keep up with.
The day everything changed was when my coach told me to “stop thinking about the right answer; know the right answer.” WHAT?!? I was in very unfamiliar territory. I was so out of touch with inner knowing and listening to my gut, that I almost cried in frustration.
Similarly, but interestingly opposite, there are those of us who love to be stuck in the other world – Where being in your head means dealing with energies and auras and chakras and crystals – and you love being up there because it’s easy, fun and safe. And I get it; being ‘grounded’ in present time physical world is really hard to comfortably face sometimes!

It’s been an amazing journey getting back into my body. To embody who I am, to embody my soul. To balance the thoughts and dreams in my mind with the physical creation and ability to DO things. To do things in a way that is conscious – because I choose to do them, not because everyone else thinks that I should.
It’s an intricate dance, my friends.

Thank you so much for reading. If you like where this is going, please like my new Facebook page that is dedicated to helping you find that balance.
Always yours,

Thanks for pointing this out Melissa! I completely forgot about the supermoon and I have been feeling RIDICULOUSLY escapist. I think that as I get more in tune with myself and learn more about astrology, energy affects me more deeply overall. I don’t know if I am being affected more by the planetary cycles or if it’s about the same and I just never noticed before. It’s definitely significant though and I feel a little more sane just by reading this. ❤

Nicole, you rock. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me.
Yeah, astrology is interesting!
When you consciously choose to tune into yourself, you’ll start to notice whatever you’re feeling in a different way.
Instead of feeling triggered because of an external event and carrying that around with you, you might instead go one step deeper and ask yourself, what is REALLY happening for you right now? Is it possible to choose to feel differently?
Certain planetary alignments can have an effect on our emotions, but we must be aware enough to tune in and find our authentic voice instead of using astrology as an excuse to be crabby or unpleasant toward others. It’s a delicate balance that I still work on 🙂
Thanks again for taking the time to comment. Big love.

“stop thinking about the right answer; know the right answer.” – LOVE that!! And yes, I was feeling out of sorts before the supermoon and I did get in touch with my body (exercise) and have felt MUCH MUCH better.
Very nice post, Melissa! Thank you! xoxo

Great article, I am usually affected by the moon’s energy but, yes, this one is definitely different! I just want to crawl up in a ball and hide under the covers.

Haha! Renee! That’s so cute of you to say. Were you able to do that? That would be a good indicator to be cautious and be aware of sensitives to triggers! Sometimes, it is a nice reminder to take time to be with ourselves. And that can be loving for everyone all around you. 🙂 LOVE ❤
