As Summer Turns to Fall

It’s here! That strange time of year when summer comes to an end and the entire country builds a hype around fall fashion trends and back to school. Can’t we have a gradual transition in to fall? Apparently not, and those back to school ads seem to bombard me earlier and earlier every year, completely catching me off guard.

I found this adorable slip dress with loose sleeves that does have elements of both fall and summer and it serves as the perfect “transition” dress. I mean, we don’t want to start wearing brown cardigans and dull fall neutrals right away!

I love this dress because it is short to stay summer sexy with a pop of bright florals, but it also has the sleeves and a loose, flowy design to welcome fall.

I paired it with my favorite white pointy-toe-heels to keep it dressy.
