The art of dreaming

It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter because you can invent things. But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the extraordinary.

With that being said, I would like to present to you Vlad Gradinariu, who captured these amazing photos. What started just as a leisure hobby turned into a fierce passion. However passion alone is not the sole reason why these photos are so amazing. There is another contributing factor: talent and a sharp eye that is able to capture the intensity of a certain moment. It is said that photography is an art of the present because once captured the subject becomes part of the past.

Photography is an illusion of reality with which we create our own world. It is up to the photographer (the creator) to choose how he would like to portray that world. I couldn’t think of another moment more serene than the one that these photos display.

Vlad Gradinariu’s talent is unique and enviable. For more information or photos by Vlad you can find him on Instagram: @vladsgradinariu

And remember:

Don’t forget to dream when you fall asleep
