We all love vacations! Going to different places is always a rewarding cultural experience as well as relaxing. Regardless if your going for a long or short time you want to make the most out of your trip. For all of those who love to travel however, packing can be bothersome as well as overwhelming. Not to worry! Here are some tips that we provide to make it easier and less of a hassle.
When it comes to packing you want it to be just right. You don’t want to overload yourself by taking unnecessary stuff, as well as at the same time you don’t want to forget anything that you might need.
Make an itinerary
If you have an itinerary for your trip and know exactly what you will be doing, it will be much easier for you. Knowing if you will be attending a (meeting, wedding, birthday party, etc.) will help you select the clothes necessary. If you do not know your exact schedule for the trip and do not have an itinerary, you have the liberty to take whatever you would like.
Prioritize
Regardless if you have a schedule or not for your trip you have to prioritize. This is one of the most important things. When you have too many clothes and want to take everything, is when things get messy. If you are indecisive and want to take it all, you might end up even losing your stuff by misplacing it.
Being selective is your best option. Set some time aside before your trip where you can look through your wardrobe. Select your favorite day outfits (casual or fancy) evening outfits (casual or more elegant). After you have pulled out from your closet what you potentially might want to take, lay them out in your room and try to select the ones which give you more options. Go for the blouses that match the most pants, skirts, etc. Do the same with your pants, skirts, etc. Afterwards you can mix and match having more options available.
Accessorize
Your accessories make a bigger statement than you think. You can play up the accessories and transform your outfit. Depending on the occasion you want to have the right accessories. Some are more fond of gold as I know other of silver. The best suggestion is to take both so that you have more options. Same as with your clothes, when it comes to your accessories and jewelry you don’t want to over do it. Be selective and eliminate anything that is unnecessary. Even if you have a slight feeling that you might not wear it, you should just leave it. I know that we all have those clothes or accessories that we barely wear and therefore spend most of the time tucked away in our closets. Refrain from taking those as they will only take up space and you will come to the realization at the end of your trip that you did not need them.
Have you ever heard the saying: “Less is more”… well it’s very true! Avoid overloading yourself. At the end of the day you are traveling and going on vacation to enjoy the moments and expand your experiences, not to sit in the house debating which outfit to wear because you have too many options to chose from.
Wherever your destination or your path may take you, remember to always stay classy, stylish, and elegant.
xoxo :*
