Miami Fashion Week Exclusive: Custo Barcelona

During the first day of Miami Fashion Week 2014, special guest Custo Barcelona, lead by innovative and internationally renowned head designer Custo Dalmau, presented the “Custo Universe” line with shades of reds and fuchsia reminiscent of summer.

“We are very happy and excited to showcase this beautiful collection that was specially selected for Miami Fashion Week 2014,” said Dalmau, “It is a pleasure to be here in Miami, city that bridges us into our priority markets. A true delight.”

The female models walked the runways with sleek, straight hair with a middle part, showing that stick straight hair is a leading trend this season. The resort looks were colorful gave off a look that brought Mediterranean beaches to life on the runway.

When we asked the world-renowned designer to describe his “Custo Universe” collection in 3 words, he described it as “Contemporary, Colorful, and Creative.”

Emilyn, Stefania and I were assigned front row seats to see his colorful collection! The catwalk at this showcase was filled with contemporary prints with a tribal edge to them. Every look was paired with phenomenal shoes, a work of art on their own! Each model wore shoes with heel that was no higher than 3″.
