Europe loves the details!

Romanian beauty and fashion expert Andreea Maria https://www.facebook.com/deea.mya shares with us fashion tips and trends that are popular in Europe, as well as styling ideas for fall fashion, color trends, and how to accessorize your outfit.

“Europe loves the details!”, Andrea says “every little button, seam, or pocket matter! These are the elements that make the difference, therefore the European clothing style is more creative. Also, lets not forget to thank our unique designers, who have been constantly working on staying on top of the trend and coming up with new ideas.”

Andrea says that the most important advice that she can give to someone when it comes to fashion is:

“I strongly believe that everyone needs to have their own unique style, although you take few ideas from here and there while making sure that you keep up with fashion, when you mix those current trends with your own personal touch, that’s what makes the best style. Uniformity is boring, when you walk down the street and you see everyone wearing the same thing just because it is a popular item.”

As for her own style, Andreea says she likes keeping it versatile. She likes switching up depending on her mood, or occasion.

“I switch my style up for fun depending on where I go or my mood. My style could be: casual, classy, elegant, sport, etc. I love to mix and match and create new outfits every day!”

Just like any other girl, Andreea told us that there are times when she feels like she has nothing to wear or not enough clothes, although her closet is too full. “I get attached to my clothes, and I have a hard time parting from them. I do not want to just throw them away. As you all have noticed fashion repeats itself, so what was in style years ago, could be back in tomorrow. Clothes go in and out of style all the time, and that’s the beauty of it 🙂 “

When it comes to where she gets her inspiration from, Andreea says that she gets ideas from TV, blogs, fashion magazines, or walking around in the streets of Europe, which I believe is a great place for inspiration.

“In Romania, girls have a sense of fashion that stands apart! Every girl is always dressed up in cute little outfits with unique details. Everything matters: the hair, the accessories, the clothes, the shoes, and of course the purses. It is a real talent, everything has to be matched perfectly in tune. I could say that they are very well put together.”

“You will never see girls in Romania who wear pajamas outside, or their outfits are mismatched! They always have to look perfect”.

That is what sets Europe apart and is leading in fashion. People care about their personal image and how they present themselves. I have noticed myself that in Europe girls will not hesitate to go that extra mile in order to look presentable. Someone even told me once that: in Romania, girls will wear heels even when they take the trash out! Of course, this is an extreme exaggeration which is not true, but the point is that girls will go to extreme lengths in order to look good.

Andreea also says that some of the most popular stores in Romania are: H&M, ZARA, BERSHKA, STRADIVARIUS.

She goes on to mention that even european men have a style that stands out. “The majority of european guys are very picky and concerned with their personal image and how they look. They are very attentive to what they wear.”

“Even when it comes to wearing school uniforms they try to make it as stylish and fashionable as possible. Making sure to add details and accessories such as: glasses, hats, belts, and other elements”.
