Having a title must keep you pretty busy! What is a typical day like for you?
As a Territory Manager for an aesthetic device company, I am fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to travel on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Every day is different! I plan my own schedule which allows me to be creative and flexible in where I need to be. For instance, the other day I woke up early in the morning, went to the Conde Nast studio to shoot a live segment for “Ask Me Anything,” then I hopped in a cab to go to a meeting with a customer. After that I went to an orientation to be a part of the Nutrition Education Program for No Kid Hungry. Upon leaving, I received a phone call from another customer who wanted to meet for a late lunch to discuss a deal so I jumped right in my car to head over. After that I finished up the rest of my work on my computer and phone and headed back home to go to the Body Sculpting Class at my gym. There is never a dull moment! I love that there is always something going on in my life. It keeps things interesting and allows me to be a master at balancing everything and finding a way to make it all work.
What has been the highlight of being Miss New Hampshire so far? The highlight so far has been the outpouring amount of love and support that I have received from my family and friends from all over the world. It means everything to me and I’m even more motivated to continue making each and every one of them proud.
What are some of your best beauty secrets to looking flawless all the time? I use Burt’s Bees Peach & Willow Bark Deep Pore Scrub every night, followed by the Peter Thomas Roth 24k Gold Mask a few times a week. However, I must say my biggest beauty secret right now is that I have been drinking even more water than usual and have drastically increased my fruit and vegetable intake and have noticed a dramatic change in my skin. It’s glowing! I’m a strong believer in nutrition and fueling your body with the necessary foods that it needs to flourish.
What is your go-to makeup look? I love wearing Pur Pressed Mineral Makeup with SPF 15 on my face to even out my skin tone and create a nice base. Then I use my Anastasia contour kit to quickly highlight under my eyes, the center of my forehead and nose. Then I contour my cheek bones and top of my forehead. I use the Anastasia Brow Wiz to define my brows. Then I use a liquid eyeliner on my top lid before putting on my Ardell lashes! I also use an eyeliner pencil under my eyes and mascara on both my top and bottom lashes. I usually leave my lips natural with some Aquaphor to keep them moisturized. It sounds like a lot, but it truly takes me about 10 minutes in the morning to do!
Growing up, who was your inspiration? My father. Everyone says I’m a daddy’s girl and I’m not ashamed to say that is true! I have always looked up to him and admired all of the hard work he put in to provide for his family. He is truly a “Jack of all Trades” and I strive to be the female version of him who wears multiple hats in society today. He has even taught me how to clean a clogged drain, paint a wall, and rip up carpet! He inspires me to want to be a better person. He does everything for everyone and doesn’t ask or need anything in return. Throughout everything, he always has a smile on his face, as do I!
Lady Code has a focus on anti-bullying and women empowerment. Do you have any advice for our readers who may be victims of bullying? Ladies, if you are, or have been a victim of bullying, know that you are not alone! Many of us have been bullied in the past and have been able to overcome the negativity and grow from it. Take everything as a learning experience and make yourself stronger from it. No one can define who you are, except for yourself. Always stay true to your values and never stoop to someone else’s level. Bullying is unacceptable and will never be tolerated by the people who respect themselves and others. We are all here for you if you are a victim of bullying so know that you have a friend in each and every one of us! We should all be empowering one another to embrace our differences and be the best version of ourselves. I’m a strong believer in women empowerment and forming a bond between us that no one can come between or break. Let’s continue making strides to put an end to bullying together!
Tell us about your platform: My platform is Hunger and Homelessness. There are millions of individuals in our nation who need our help. I work diligently with food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and churches who all provide services for those in need. Additionally, I have teamed up with No Kid Hungry to be an integral part of their Nutrition Education Program which educates individuals in underprivileged communities on how to stretch their dollar to create healthy meals to feed themselves and their families. I was also a Party Coordinator for Birthday Wishes, Inc., which brings birthday parties to children in homeless shelters. There are numerous organizations that benefit hunger and homelessness in our country and I plan to continue volunteering with them to make a difference and lend a helping hand in my community, state and nation.
What can Lady Code readers do in their communities to get involved? There are many ways that you can get involved with organizations that benefit hunger and homelessness. The first thing you can do is look up the shelters, food pantries, soup kitchens and churches in your area that provide housing and services to these individuals. I also encourage all of you to go on the No Kid Hungry website (www.nokidhungry.com) to look up the different volunteer opportunities you can do in your area. Together we can make a difference to end hunger and homelessness in our country!
In your free time, what do you enjoy doing? Free time? What is that? Just kidding! I love to be around my family and friends as much as possible. I also enjoy cooking because I find that it relaxes me after a long day.
What is one thing you can’t live without? Water! I drink a lot of it on a daily basis.
What is the hardest part about competing in pageants? Having the confidence to put the best version of yourself out there to be judged. If you’re able to do that, you’ve already won!
What is the best part about competing in pageants? Meeting other women who share in your ambitions and understand your hustle. Most of the women who compete in pageants are all like-minded in wanting to achieve their dreams and do whatever it takes to get there. It’s refreshing and empowering to be around these types of women.
What is the best advice you have ever received? To realize that not everyone is going to understand your passion and the fire that you have inside of you, and that’s okay! Everyone has their own journey in life and it’s important to stay true to who you are and follow your dreams.

Everything you stand for and represent is accredited not only to your hard work and dedication, but to your selfless love for your goals and never forgetting the support of your loving father. I admire your strength as a woman and the fact that with every challenge you land on your “gorgeous heels.” You don’t look back. You face the next event with a smile and great anticipation that no matter the outcome, you’ll be better no matter the outcome.
