Happy Motivational Monday everyone!
Last week, I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing the brilliant and beautiful Megan Owen, Miss Colorado Supranational. Megan is a woman in the STEM field. She manages speakers and programs at the Space Foundation, coordinating speakers for meetings and presentations between everyone in the Aerospace and Defense Agency.

Originally, she majored in Geology, however as luck would have it, one thing led to another and she began teaching Robotics at NASA which led to her current job. Megan is a dynamic representative of the minority of women in the STEM field.
Megan offered me some key advice during the interview regarding how to get started and succeed as a woman in STEM careers:
- Find a mentor who is doing what you want to do, and talk to them.
- Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. They are learning opportunities that help you grow and become better.
Do not be afraid to make mistakes.
Beyond her exterior beauty, brilliant mind, she has a smile that lights up the universe and a heart that shines like the brightest start. She was even recognized as Miss Congeniality at her national pageant.
She is truly out of this world! Check out the interview below.
Happy Motivational Monday!
