Motivational Monday with Brooke Garrison

Happy Motivational Monday everyone!

I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I am so excited to share this post because I got to spend time with one of my best friends, Brooke, when I was in Gainesville. I even had a chance to interview her and this special Motivational Monday is geared towards ending bullying.

Brooke is a freshman and the University of Florida, majoring in journalism. She is one of the nicest girls that you will ever meet. Not only that, but she started her own non-profit community service project, is a member of the Innovation Academy at UF, Service Chairman and Spirit Chairman for her sorority Zeta Tau Alpha.Brooke is also held multiple pageant titles and was a top finalist in Florida Teen USA!!

However, the smiling girl in the interview below was not always that happy. Brooke was bullied for many years years and has some great advice for those who are facing similar situations. One piece of advice that stood out to me that stood out to me was ” As soon as someone wants to tear you down, that should only serve as motivation for you to get back up and fight harder.” You have to make sure that nobody else determines your self-worth or their opinion define you, as Brooke mentions. Instead, your reaction defines you.

This multi-talented girl not only has the sweetest heart, but she writes and composes song and has multiple internships this year for fashion companies.
