Fall Favorites: Skincare

Let’s talk skincare today. The cooler weather will soon be biting our skin with dryness, redness, and maybe some new, unwanted wrinkles from summer’s sun damage. I love spoiling my skin and I do whatever it takes to keep it soft, hydrated, and healthy. I’ve changed up my skincare routine a little bit, so check out my top skincare favorites for fall 2014!

Glow on. 

Never say goodbye to your sexy summer tan with Eco Tan! Apply all over your face and body before bed and wake up with an amazing, natural glow! I use this product to keep me glowing all year long, with absolutely NO damage to my skin. I have sensitive skin that easily breaks out and I have not had any issues with applying Eco Tan on my face.

Texture? Not on my skin. 

I will use this skin exfoliant for the rest of my life. Applying this heavenly formula gives you a strange, refreshing, cooling feeling, and the sensation of feeling your PERFECT skin after rinsing it off makes me wish I could use this product every day! Spoil yourself and kiss dull, uneven skin goodbye with this incredible skin exfoliant!

Stock up on hydration 

Does LonVitalite sound familiar? I recently blogged about my obsession with these face masks that my skin just finds delicious! This coconut masks takes me straight to paradise with its luscious tropical scent (smells like a pina colada), and leaves my skin super refreshed. Use 1-2 times per week to keep your skin perfect and glowing.

Orange you glad? 

If you have ever set foot into a Sephora recently, I’m sure you have heard of this Ole Henriksen truth serum. I am on my third bottle of this serum and I am honestly addicted to this vitamin C serum. It smells like oranges (yum!), spreads evenly on the face, and you can see younger looking, even skin almost right away! I apply this serum twice a day after washing my face in the morning and the evenings. Note: This product DOES make my skin break out very once in a while. You can’t have the best of both worlds 😦 

Don’t be gel-ous.Everyone can have hydrated skin. 

I’ve been swearing by this product for years! When I lived in (freezing cold) Virginia and Colorado, this lovely gel was my best friend and helped me get through the long, dry, cold winters with perfect skin! I have normal to oily skin, so if you have dry skin I recommend Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel+, which I have tried during desperate dry winters and it works just as wonderfully, never feeling heavy, greasy, or caused any breakouts. I apply this twice daily over my serum and oils.

Oil? All over my FACE!? 

Me with my breakout prone, normal-to-oily skin basically freaked out when I was told that slathering oil all over your face is good for your skin. I almost passed on this one but after reading raging positive reviews I decided to give it a try (I mean, there’s always the dermatologist if anything goes wrong, right?). I am in love. This bottle is liquid gold and worth every penny of $79.00 you will pay for this product. The good news? If you are loyal to Sephora, you get a sample size bottle for 250 beauty insider points! A little bit goes a long way here so really, make this investment.
