The golden hour

Its the last weekend in August. The heat as unbearable as can be although the sun was setting. For a Saturday night, Brickell did not seem as chaotic as usual. There wasn’t much commotion on the streets, because of the heat or maybe people were still finishing up their afternoon siesta.

A good friend of mine came to town to visit me. We have not seen each other in few months, so it was about time to finally catch up. Lisa and I decided to meet her at a nearby restaurant in Brickell for girl talk and coffee. It was my favorite time of the day: the golden hour! The sun was setting and the city looked almost covered in gold.

I did not have much time to ponder on what to wear, but I thought of an outfit with cream hues. Cream tones are my favorite for clothes, as they are very elegant yet neutral. It is a classic and timeless color that compliments any type of skin. I decided to wear a cream colored skirt, with a black cropped top. I assorted my favorite pair of BCBG shoes and a bag, however they all had the same cream shades.
