Healthy skin

Maintaining your skin healthy is key to a youthful appearance.  While everyone enjoys spending time in the sun, it is important to remember to protect your skin.  Sun’s rays can cause your skin’s  appearance to deteriorate and fasten the apparance of wrinkles.

Using SPF is highly recommended as it protects your skin from the damaging rays while still letting your skin get a healthy glow. SPF also protects from sun burns which look unattractive.  The result, is healthy glowing skin that is still bronzed and not burned.

It is recommended that SPF 30 should  be used as it blocks 97% of UVB rays.  For limited sun exposure SPF 15 can be used.

Here is a little tip after enjoying a day in the sun:

  •  after taking a bath and exfoliating skin
  •  use coconut oil and rub it in a circular motion over the entire skin area (the coconut oil will provide moisture that will give your skin a healthy glow)
