Downtown Girl: A New York Minute

Growing up with a Japanese mother, it should come to no surprise to any of you that between math homework I practiced piano for at least an hour a day for 10 years. Today I probably wouldn’t know how to play anything not to mention my beauty blogger acrylic nails would even let me touch a key! I’m having trouble typing this on a keyboard lol. I’m sharing this backstory because I’ve been really into OLD music this week. Last week, my playlist had Lil Skies, Yo Gotti, and Kanye and this week… well, I’m basically listening to the opposite. My musical background made me appreciate all forms of music so I’m on a roll with Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, and Soul Asylum this week. Billy Joel’s Uptown Girl has me inspired for this post.

I barely had a break during New York Fashion Week but we had a second to shoot this look. I love it and I’m excited to share it with you!

  2. I love this look you did for fashion week so freaking much! !! It definitely has to be one of my all-time favorites! It looks comfortable but yet chic enough to walk down Roedeo Dr, lol. I have always loved the white red and black combo, and I want these pants so bad now 🤣
