Kathleenlights x Morphe Palette Review + First Impressions

Getting a hyped-up eyeshadow palette has been SO stressful lately! I can’t tell you how many times a site has crashed because an influencer launched a palette, for example, Makeup by Mario x Anastasia Beverly Hills, HudaBeauty, and Kylie Cosmetics. The recent Kathleenlights x Morphe collaboration is no exception. The palette sold out so quickly I was surprised I got my hands on one! I’ve never had any issues with the Morphe brand and I love their affordable brushes and palettes. I decided to create this fall look as the first look I create with the palette, and I filmed the whole process so you can see my very first impressions as I tried the product.

While trying this palette I tried to keep in mind that it was only $14.99, so I think that you do get your money’s worth because you get 15 generously sized pans of eyeshadow in a mix of matte and shimmers. Can you live without this palette? YES.

I noticed the formula of the different colors in palette was very inconsistent. The lighter colors were highly pigmented and blended well, while other colors were chalky, muddy, and WOULD NOT BLEND. Watch my live first impressions to the palette here:

I would not recommend this palette to anyone, and I think there are great alternatives for this palette. If you really like the colors in the Kathleenlights x Morphe palette, try these alternative palettes:
