Ibiza Travel Diary: Closing Weekend Experience 2016

We took a 3 hour flight out of London directly to Ibiza (London to Ibiza… JLo anyone?) and arrived in the Spanish Island at 10:00am! We checked in and headed straight to the beach!

The hotel we stayed at was the New Hotel Algarb. It was a standard hotel in Ibiza and had the perfect amenities: Pool [parties], a GORGEOUS beach with a view, and our room had a wrap around balcony. The location was perfect and right off the strip.

 

 

After a very short time at the beach we started getting hangry and cranky from all the overnight traveling so we headed out for tapas and coffee. We ended up at La Griferia after searching on Yelp! for an authentic Spanish restaurant, and their almost perfect rating did not disappoint. Like Punjab in London, I ended up eating here every day while I was in Ibiza.

After dinner we got ready to go out to Amnesia Ibiza for their closing party. Tickets were super easy to purchase: You can either buy them from vendors on the street, or form the hotel. We found that our hotel offered the best price after looking around.

We headed home a little bit early around 3:30 am so that we could wake up and enjoy our last full day on the island.

As you may have seen on the Ibiza Vlog, we rented a scooter to explore the island. We found a gorgeous private beach to spend the rest of the day at and then headed back to Playa Den Bossa for dinner… At La Griferia, of course 🙂
