If you’ve been keeping up with my blog, vlogs, or social media, I know you are familiar with PageantLIVE. PageantLIVE is a pageant based media platform that brings you the latest news (usually live and on-location) in pageantry! As I write this, I am in Las Vegas covering Miss USA for PageantLIVE. Today I am so excited to share my interview with the woman who founded PageantLIVE herself, Paige Clark!

What inspired you to start PageantLIVE? I am an early adopter for google+ hangouts. When I was a titleholder, the idea of PageantLIVE evolved then the idea of having titleholders from allover the world on one platform to discuss our love of pageantry and modeling.

What are some challenges you faces starting out, and how did you overcome them? No one had ever heard or had experience on the social media platform google+ hangouts. Plus, google+ was brand new, so there was many challenges in the beginning.

You are also a professional model! What projects do you have going on at the moment? I just recently finished a photoshoot with designer, Posh Me’ke which was incredible. I am currently working with a product developer in Baltimore. I recently returned for 3 weeks in Maui completing my yoga certification in Vinyasa.

What is a typical day like for you? Each day Is different really, which is exciting. Typically, I work as a marketing representative, as a model when I have bookings, and as a yoga instructor. Aside from work, I like to take time out of my day to work out whether that is yoga or running. My highlights are spending time with my dogs and family.

What has been the highlight of your career so far? So far, the highlight of my career was covering the Miss Universe 2015 pageant in Las Vegas. I was able to meet and network with so many amazing people!

What are some of your best beauty secrets to looking flawless all the time? Lol, I wouldn’t describe myself as flawless ALL the time. You can occasionally find me with no make up on and my hair throw up on top of my head. I like to think that this is my best beauty secret, sometimes you need to let your skin breathe!

Growing up, who was your inspiration? My mom! She is the strongest, most independent woman I have ever met.

Lady Code has a focus on anti-bullying and women empowerment. Do you have any advice for our readers who may be victims of bullying? No matter how badly someone treats you, never drop down to their level. Remain calm, stay strong, and walk away. Never be afraid to ask for help and remember things will always get better.

In your free time, what do you enjoy doing? I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, anything that has to do with being on the water, trying new restaurants, going to concerts, hanging out with friends, and shopping!!!

Can you tell us about your 5 year plan? In five years I hope to continue developing PageantLIVE. I also hope to open my own yoga studio and live by the beach!!!

What is the best advice you have ever received? Always stay true to yourself.
