Featured Blogger Babe: Olivia Sohnly from LULU L’AMOUR

Here at Lady Code we do our absolute best to inspire women every single day! With a Sunday interview with Miss Teen North Carolina United States Cassie Huffman, an amazing Motivational Monday with Sarahy Delarosa and former Miss Teen Nevada Geovanna Hilton hosted by Charlotte Trattner, I think we are off to an AMAZING week.

I am keeping the motivational momentum going by featuring a recent interview with one of my favorite blogger babes, Olivia Sohnly from Lulu L’Amour. Oh, em gee. Take one look at this girl and she will steal your heart, but she proves to be beyond beautiful by living an inspiring lifestyle! Lucky for us, she has a blog where she shares her beauty and fashion secrets, along with plenty of inspiration for us ladies as well!

MEET OLIVIA SOHNLY: 

What have you been up to lately? You may not guess it, but I am currently a senior in high school. I loved high school but am ready for a new chapter in my life to begin.  I was a cheerleader all four years, and was apart of many organizations. I currently work for my family’s Real Estate and Auction Company. You can always find me at charity events helping to raise money for charities and we’ve been lucky enough to have raised millions of dollars for charities across the world.  I will be graduating next month, and will be attending college in the fall. High school keeps me very busy, but just like any normal teenager I love hanging out with my friends. Although, I am constantly working on my blog and social media accounts, but have learned very quickly over the last couple of months to find balance in this crazy world.

Tell us about your career: I am a freelance model, and compete in pageants. I consider pageantry as a career because of all the work you have to put in. Pageantry has given me the confidence to be confident in who I am and to speak about things very important to me.  Aside from being a blogger, I work at my families Real Estate and Auction company doing just about everything. My love is with Charity auctions helping to raise money for these charities. I hope one day to specialize in this and to make it my career.

 

Describe your blog: Over the past few months, my blog has transformed into a lifestyle, makeup and fashion blog. I talk about all the latest trends, and just important things I think everyone should know! I am so happy to have partnered with so many well- respected brands to help promote products I use and love.

What inspired you to create your blog? I model for a boutique, and so many people were asking the owner so many beauty related questions. Finally she told me “you just need to make a blog and tell them!” I agreed, and it was the best decision I’ve made so far.

 

Where do you find your fashion inspiration from? Magazines, Bloggers, Boutiques, and Pinterest.

Which beauty product are you currently obsessing over? The Pureology Colour Fanatic Deep Conditioning Mask

 

What is your go-to beauty look (smokey eye, red lip, etc)? Smokey eye – I wear one everyday.

 

What projects do you have going on at the moment? I just finished redesigning my blog which was really fun and I’m so happy with the way it turned out! Also, I’m in the middle of a giveaway right now. I’m busy planning my graduation party, and getting ready for college.

 

What is one beauty product you can’t live without? Younique Brow Liner and Gel – best my brows have ever looked!

 

We know you’re a super busy girl! How do you stay so glam while you travel? Always getting enough sleep and a Starbucks Coffee to start my day! Also, it’s never a bad idea to keep makeup and oil reducing wipes with you in your purse- you never know who you might see!

 

What is the best advice you ever received: To never take any given moment for granted. Take it all in and enjoy every moment of it.

 

Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now? Graduating for college and starting my own career in both blogging and in philanthropy work.

 

Who is your role model and why? Nia Sanchez, Miss USA 2014. She is such an inspiration to girls around the world not only is she poised, confident, and is a strong independent young women. She didn’t let anything bring her down, and continues to be a women of faith and inspiration.
