Fashion Show-down: Haute Couture vs. Resort

Dear Lady Code,

With both the Haute Couture shows and resort shows going on right now, it is so hard to keep up! But we are here to the rescue. Here are the highlights from the shows from this week so far.

1. Christian Dior

Regal as usual. Raf Simons has done it again. The Haute Couture collection is stunning and certainly not lacking in elegant ball gowns that will take your breath away. Cinderella who?

2. Versace

JLo was front and center at the Versace show in a super chic all white ensemble. Yet all of the attention was on the clothes, the beautiful masterpieces that are definitely drool worthy.

3. Miu Miu

Miuccia Prada’s whimsical haute couture collection has left me hungry for more. The clothes so easily transport you to a fantastical land where dreams come true. Gorgeous!

4. Giambattista Valli

Girly dresses, floral detailing and exquisite fabrics. Need I say more?
