Fashion is constantly changing. We know it is important to stay trendy and not have your wardrobe outdated. Here are some of the fashion trends that will prevail in 2014:

Designeres say that these styles, colors, and materials are popular in 2014.  Not all of these ideas and tendencies are fit for everyone, some you might even disagree with, however if you are a true fashionista, you do want to be in tune with what’s in style.

Midi Skirts 

A while back, mini skirts were in style and very popular. Mini skirts were a must have in any fashionista’s wardrobe. The following year, the trend changed from mini skirts to maxi skirts and dresses. Colorful, with designs, or simple, these loose comfortable dresses were chic and elegant. Now a new trend is emerging: the midi skirts: just like the maxi skirts, these midi skirts have a very loose feel and soft texture, they are very comfortable, however the difference is that they are only three-quarters. If paired up with the right accessories, your outfit will look very trendy and chic.

Loose Pants 

Another trend in fashion that is very popular this year is the loose pants also known as “elephant pants” or “aladdin pants”. These pants just like the midi skirt are made out of a comfortable, loose material. They can be simple or with different colors and prints. They definitely make a statement, while you are comfortable, as they are for a very relaxed look. Again, if accessorized properly, they are a must have in your wardrobe! 🙂

Transparent Textures

Sheer materials are in this year, that includes skirts, dresses, tops, etc. Remember how you put the outfit together so that it provokes inters and looks classy, yet not vulgar. There is a fine border line that should not be crossed. These sheer materials can look very interesting as well as delicate. They are very loose and comfortable, therefore depending on how you want to go about it, you can create either a soft, elegant look, or a more relaxed, laid back style.

Radiant Orchid is the New Black

You can never go wrong with wearing an all-black outfit. It is classy, elegant, and within comfort zone limits. However, 2014 brings changes, and the color of the year is Radiant Orchid. This color intrigues the eye and captivates imagination. This color is expressive, joyful, and radiant, as it is a harmony of fuchsia, purple, and pink undertone. On your next shopping trip you should try getting some clothes in this color.
