Meet Miss Universe 2015: Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach

I never thought my involvement with the world of beauty pageants would bring me to an in-person interview with Miss Universe in New York City! Thanks to PageantLIVE, I met with Miss Universe 2015, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach in her gorgeous Miss Universe apartment in New York City for an exclusive PageantLIVE interview!

So thanks to the lovely weather changes I’ve been sick this past week (like bedridden) but I toughed it out for this interview. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Pia was so sweet, genuine, and kind. PageantLIVE wanted to keep the focus of the interview on Pia and NOT on the crazy fiasco that happened with Steve Harvey. In this interview, Pia got to talk about Pia and who she is, what she is looking forward to as Miss Universe, and the legacy that she will leave behind. My favorite part of the interview is when Pia gives advice on cyberbullying. She was a former victim of cyberbulling and she is currently using the crown to raise awareness for cyberbullying, HIV/AIDS, and many other causes!
