Urban Decay Naked Cherry Collection Review

Urban Decay is just serving us with one amazing eyeshadow palette after another! They sent me their entire Naked Cherry Collection to review on LadyCode and that’s exactly what I’m going to do for you today!

Here is the full video if you want to watch my live Naked Cherry Collection Review:

The Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette:

This palette is a hit! The cool red tones are everything and they formula feel like it has improved (not that UD needed to improve their formula). The powders are velvety, pigmented, and blend well without much fallout. The color range is pretty great, I usually prefer a palette with a black eyeshadow but I had no problems with this gradient to create a soft glam look. The colors are a mix of rich mattes and shimmers.

The Naked Cherry Face Palette:

I was not impressed with the face palette. I’m spoiled because I get to try so many amazing beauty products, and since I have tried so many, I’m super picky. This was not even close to the best highlight or blush I have ever used, unfortunately. My current favorite highlighter is The Balm Cosmetics Mary Lou-Manizer, and my favorite blush is the Bare Minerals Gen Nude Blush (fav shade- Bellini Brunch). The Naked Cherry Face Palette applied very dry and chalky. It felt dry on my face and I barely got any pigment to come through.

Vice Lipsticks:

O.M.G. I think I have finally found the right RED LIPSTICK. If you’re familiar with LadyCode you KNOW I am NOT a red lip person and I hate how red lips look on me. When I applied the Cherry Vice Lipstick, I literally fell in LOVE with how it looked on me. This rich, deep red is a color I am finally comfortable wearing and I’ll be wearing it more over the holidays! The “Juicy” shade did not have a lot of payoff over the Cherry shade, but I’ll be trying it by itself to see if there’s improvement.

24/7 Eyeliners:

Love Drug is a deep wine metallic that is great for anyone with smaller eyes, like me. I lined my waterline with this cherry colored pencil because it does not tighten the eye like a black liner would, so it kept my eyes defined, but wide. The new Black Market shade is a black satin and it is a perfect black liner!

Will you be trying out the Naked Cherry Collection? Let me know which product you’re eyeing in the comments below!
